Ox-E-Topical Solution – Powerful, Gentle Pet Eye-Drops Alternative

Since many people seem to be looking for ‘eye drops for dogs’, we feel pet owners should know about the gentle and safe effectiveness of our special Ox-E Topical Solution. Pets can have a variety of eye-health issues where truly effective relief or help is needed – as further discussed lower on this page.

This solution comes in a ‘spray bottle’ form, although the output of this particular bottle is actually a gentle MIST rather than a typical heavy spray.  Therefore, where pet eye troubles exist, AND your pet is not significantly bothered by this gentle mist (for eye use), this may be an acceptable method of use.  However, the alternative method is to use the spray to wet or soak a new cotton-ball; wherein, that wet cotton-ball can be used to DRIP the solution gently into affected eyes, AND also to wipe around the outer perimeters of the eye or nearby skin areas.

This OX-E-DROPS 2% solution has been around for a long time, as a self-made item – using instructions on the Ox-E-Drops bottle. The solution is 98% water and 2% OX-E-DROPS (below, right). Near the end of 2016 we recognized the need to have a ready-made product (topical solution) to INCLUDE with all our Healthy Skin Kits. This is to further insure people begin, right away, using the solution topically, including the eyes, when starting their dog on the Nzymes® Healthy Skin Program. This is an important part of the Program to ensure we do all we can to speed recovery of troublesome skin areas OR affected eyes. Though we have provided INSTRUCTIONS for years – for making the 2% Solution using a bottle of full-strength Ox-E-Drops, this NEW ready-made version, Ox-E-Topical, is somewhat ‘special’ – in that it is made using special ionized water, which can increase effectiveness.  Therefore, if one purchases this Ox-E-Topical product, we encourage you to also purchase the Ox-E-Drops so that you can re-make the solution yourself with the formula shown below, provided you have a bottle of the actual Ox-E-Drops, which we encourage you to add to your purchase if you have any thoughts about long-term use. INSTRUCTIONS FOR REFILLING YOUR EMPTY OX-E-TOPICAL BOTTLE

Simply re-fill the Green bottle with distilled or filtered water (4 ounces); then add 40-Drops of the raw Ox-E-Drops product to the water in the Green bottle; Formula = 10-drops per ounce. WARNING: The straight Ox-E-Drops (right) must ALWAYS be diluted; being pH 13, they are never to be used straight out of the bottle – especially never used directly in eyes or on skin. OX-E-DROPS MUST ALWAYS BE DILUTED IN WATER. 

INGREDIENTS / DESCRIPTION:

The base Ox-E-Drops products is simply a 5% solution of SODIUM CLORITE, which – in varying percentage formulas – is widely known around the world for anti-microbial effectiveness. The Nzymes® special formula, at a 5% strength, is much more “safe and stable” than many found elsewhere.  The Ox-E-Drops has a high pH of 13+. So, when added to the diet – via dilution in water –  it can have a positive effect where dangerous low pH (6 or under) is a worry.  That formula for dietary use is 1-drop per 20-lbs into a tsp of water – twice per day, with a 2-drop minimum for tiny pets.

The OX-E TOPICAL – using the special ionized water – is a highly diluted mixture which is 98% water, making it completely safe in and around EYES, and also in or around pet EARS – which is has always been one of the primary uses.
