Blackened skin in dogs, which can become like elephant skin, is a sad and unfortunate symptom of Yeast overgrowth that is deeply rooted in the Gut (digestive tract). This is one of the more advanced symptoms of yeast infections in dogs, and is indicative of the collection of the DIE-OFF residue of yeast and its by-products exiting the body. It’s heartbreaking to watch your dog become overwhelmed by such yeast issues. First internally, then extending into seriously ‘itchy skin’ problems. And finally
becoming very visible as the yeast cleansing process clogs hair follicles, causes eruptions, leaves blackened skin areas, or fuels the transformation of the dogs skin to closely resemble that of the elephant.
